How ZS Net Solution collects, uses, and protects your personal data — in plain language, aligned with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. Who we are

ZS Net Solution ("we", "us", "our") is a registered Malaysian business based at BO1-A-9, Menara 2, KL Eco City, 3, Jln Bangsar, 59200 Kuala Lumpur. We provide cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, IT training, web design and hardware procurement services for Malaysian businesses.

For the purposes of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) we are the data user in respect of personal data collected through this website.

2. What personal data we collect

When you visit zsnetsolution.com we may collect:

  • Standard analytics data via Google Analytics 4 — only if you click Accept on our cookie banner. This includes a randomly-assigned visitor ID (stored in the _ga and _ga_* first-party cookies for up to 2 years), pages visited on our site, your approximate location (city-level, derived from your IP address — which Google anonymises before storage), referrer URL, device type, browser, and language.
  • Cloudflare security and performance data — your IP address, request headers and short-lived security cookies (such as __cf_bm) are processed by Cloudflare to protect the site from attacks and to deliver content quickly. This applies whether or not you accept analytics. We do not store these ourselves.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookie-less aggregate page-view counts (sampled IPs and User-Agents are processed but not stored against an identifier). Always on.
  • Contact data you choose to send us — if you message us on WhatsApp (wa.me/60127723079) or email [email protected], we receive whatever you write plus your WhatsApp number or email address. The site itself has no contact form, so we only receive what you actively send.

We do not collect: payment card details, government IDs, biometric data, or any sensitive personal data, through this website.

3. Why we collect it (purpose)

  • Analytics: to understand which pages and services interest visitors, and to improve the site over time.
  • Security and uptime: to protect the site from abuse, defend against attacks, and serve pages reliably.
  • Communication: to respond to your enquiry when you contact us.

4. Who we share it with (third parties)

The third parties we share or transfer data to are:

  • Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) — only if you grant analytics consent. Data may be processed in Google's servers worldwide (including the United States and EU). Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (CDN, WAF, security, analytics) — processes traffic at the network edge globally. Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
  • Our hosting provider — stores the website files and serves them on our behalf within Malaysia.

We do not sell your personal data, share it with advertisers, or use it for ad-targeting. Cross-border transfer to Google and Cloudflare is permitted under PDPA § 129 because both providers are subject to comparable data protection regimes and you have consented to it by clicking Accept on the cookie banner.

5. How long we keep it

  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*): up to 2 years from your last visit, or until you clear them.
  • GA4 event data on Google's servers: we configure this to the shortest available retention (typically 2 months).
  • Your consent choice (Accept/Decline): stored in your browser's local storage, controlled entirely by you. Clear your browser data to remove it.
  • WhatsApp / email enquiries: retained for as long as needed to serve you, then archived in line with our internal records policy.

6. Your rights under PDPA 2010

Under sections 30 to 38 of the PDPA you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date;
  • Withdraw consent at any time (including for analytics — see "Changing your choice" below);
  • Limit processing for direct marketing purposes (we do not currently do any);
  • Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Department (PDPD): www.pdp.gov.my.

7. Changing your cookie / analytics choice

You can update your choice at any time by clicking . Declining will stop new GA4 data being collected; existing GA4 cookies will expire naturally or you can clear them in your browser settings.
